Can and Cannot का प्रयोग कहाँ कहाँ होता है?

Hello! friends आज हमलोग कैन का प्रयोग करना सीखेगें।

"Can" is used to show the ability or capacity of someone in present time

मैं इसे कर सकता हूं। 

  I can do it.

अंधे देख नहीं सकते हैं ।

The blind cannot see.

Present Ability से मेरा तात्पर्य है जो काम आप Present में करने का सामर्थ रखते हो।

ऊपर दिए गए सभी वाक्यों से ये पता चलता है की यहाँ Present Ability की बात हो रही है इसलिए यहाँ Can का प्रयोग हो रहा है अगर यहाँ past की Ability का जिक्र होता तो यहाँ Can की जगह could का प्रयोग होता।

Affirmative Sentences (सकारात्मक वाक्य)

तुम गाना गा सकते हो।	You can sing song.
राकेश तुम्हे पिट सकता है।	Rakesh can beat you.

लड़के क्रिकेट खेल सकते हैं।	The boys can play cricket.
वे लोग हमारी मदद कर सकते हैं।	They can help us.

छात्र परीक्षा पास हो सकते हैं।	The students can pass the examination.
मैं हिंदी लिख सकता हूँ।	I can write Hindi.
लड़कियां दौड़ सकती हैं।	The girls can run.
तुम लोग यह काम कर सकते हो।	You can do this work.
अमित एक अच्छा अध्यापक बन सकता है।	Amit can be a good teacher.

 Negative Sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

Rule: S + Can + Not + V1 + Obj.

सोहन किताब नही खरीद सकता है।	Sohan can not buy book.
छात्र परीक्षा पास नही हो सकते हैं।	The students can not pass the examination.
मैं हिंदी नही लिख सकता हूँ।	I can not write Hindi.
लड़कियां दौड़ नही सकती हैं।	The girls can not run.
तुम लोग यह काम नही कर सकते हो।	You can not do this work.
अमित एक अच्छा अध्यापक नही बन सकता है।	Amit can not be a good teacher.

Man can share their ideas and feelings.

2.हम लोग भोजन के बिना जिंदा नहीं रह सकते हैं।

 We cannot live without food.

3.जानवर हमारी तरह शब्दों एवं वाक्यों का प्रयोग नहीं कर सकते हैं।

Animals cannot use words and sentences like us.

4.मैं तुम्हारे बिना जिंदा नहीं रह सकता हूं।

  I cannot live without you

5.सजीव पानी के बिना जिंदा नहीं रह सकते हैं।

Living things cannot live without water.

6.घोड़ा आकाश में उड़ नहीं सकता है।

Horse cannot fly in the sky.

7.मैं इस बक्से को उठा सकता हूं।

I can lift this box.

8.अब तुम जा सकते हो।

You can go now.

9.आप इसे ले सकते हैं।

 You can take it.

10.राम इस घर को खरीद सकता है।

Ram can buy this house.

11.मैं इसे कर सकता हूं।

12.अंधे देख नहीं सकते हैं ।

The blind cannot see.

13.लंगडे चल नहीं सकते हैं।

The lame cannot walk.

14.गूंगे बोल नहीं सकते हैं ।

The dumb cannot speak.

The deaf cannot hear.

21. एक हाथी दौड़ सकता है लेकिन उड़ नहीं सकता।

Elephant can run but cannot fly .

22.मैं हिंदी बोल सकता हूं लेकिन एक हाथी हिंदी नहीं बोल सकता है।

I can speak Hindi but elephant cannot speak.

23.मछली पानी में रह सकती है लेकिन हम लोग पानी में नहीं रह सकते हैं।

Fish can live in the water but we cannot live in the water.

24.मनुष्य घास नहीं खा सकता है लेकिन गाय घास खा सकती है।

A man  cannot eat grass but cow can eat grass.

मै 15 km दौड़ सकता हूँ।
I can run 15 km.

वो आपको हरा सकता है।
He can defeat you.

राहुल dance कर सकता है।
Rahul can dance.

मै गाना गा सकता हूँ।
I can sing a song.

वो आपसे ज्यादा खा सकती है।
She can eat more than you eat.

Can और could दोनों ही Request / Permission के लिए प्रयोग होता है पर Can का प्रयोग हमे Formal Situation में नहीं करना चाहिए। जैसे मान लो अगर आप कही काम करते हो और आपके senior(Formal) से आपको कोई request करनी है तो कोशिश करो की वहां Could या May का प्रयोग करो।

पर अगर आपको दोस्तों से या Family या Relatives(Informal) से कोई Request करना है तो वहां Can का प्रयोग करें।

क्या मै आपके लिए कुछ कर सकता हूँ?
Can I do something for you?

क्या हम साथ में टहल  सकते है?
Can We walk together?

Note: Request /Permission के लिए Can /Could /May में से आप किसी का भी प्रयोग कर सकते हो पर Could और May का प्रयोग Formal Situation में होता है वहीँ Can का प्रयोग informal situation में अच्छा माना जाता है।
