 Aung San Suu Kyi, born on 19 June 1945 in Rangoon, is a pro-democracy activist and leader of the National League for Democracy in Burma.
रंगून में 19 जून 1945 को जन्मी आंग सान सू की लोकतंत्र समर्थक कार्यकर्ता और बर्मा में नेशनल लीग फॉर डेमोक्रेसी की नेता हैं।
 She won the Rafto Prize and the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought in 1990 and the Nobel Peace Prize in 1991.
उन्होंने 1990 में विचार की स्वतंत्रता के लिए राफ्टो पुरस्कार और सखारोव पुरस्कार और 1991 में नोबेल शांति पुरस्कार जीता।

 was delivered on behalf of Aung San Suu Kyi by her son Alexander Aris, on the occasion of the award of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, December 10, 1991.

Your majesties, Your excellences, Ladies and Gentlemen,
महामहिम , महामान्य , महिलाओं और भद्र जनो.

I stand before you here today मै आज आपलोगों के  सामने यहाँ खड़ा हूँ  to accept on behalf of my mother, Aung San Suu Kyi, अपनी माँ आंग सान्ग सु की कि ओर से  स्वीकार करने के लिए this greatest of prizes, the Nobel Prize for Peace . यह सर्वश्रेष्ट पुरस्कार , नोबेल पुरस्कार   Because circumstances do not permit my mother to be here in person, क्योंकि परिस्थितियाँ मेरी माँ को व्यक्तिगत रूप से यहाँ उपस्थित होने की अनुमति नहीं देती है  I will do my best to convey the sentiments I believe she would express. मै जो समझाता हूँ की जो वो व्यक्त करती, उस भावनाओं/ संवेदनाओं   को  पूरी तरह से आपलोगों तक पहुँचाने  का  भरपूर प्रयास करूँगा .

 

Firstly, I know that सबसे पहले मैं समझता हुं कि she would begin by saying that वो ये कहते हुए शुरू करती  कि she accepts the Nobel Prize for Peace not in her own name वो नोबल शांति पुरस्कार अपने स्वयं के नाम पर स्वीकार नहीं करती हैं,  but in the name of all the people s of Burma. बल्कि वर्मा के सभी लोग के नाम पर स्वीकार करती हूं। She would say that this prize belongs not to her but वो कहती हैं कि यह पुरस्कार मेरा नहीं बल्कि to all those men, women and children उन सभी पुरूषों, महिलाओं और बच्चों का हैं, who, even as I speak जैसा मैं कहती हूं, , continue to sacrifice बलिदान जारी रखा their well being , अपने हितों का , their freedom and their lives अपनी स्वतंत्रता और जीवन को in pursuit of a democratic Burma लोकतांत्रिक वर्मा के लिए. Theirs is the prize  उनका पुरस्कार है, and theirs will be the eventual victory उनकी अंततः विजय होगी  in Burma’s long struggle for peace, freedom, and democracy शान्ति, स्वतंत्रता, और लोकतंत्र के लिए वर्मा के लंबे संघर्ष के लिए.

2. Speaking as her son, however, I would add that फिर भी , उनके पुत्र के रूप में बोलते हुए मै जोड़ना चाहूँगा कि  I personally believe that मेरा व्यक्तिगत विश्वास है कि  by her own dedication and personal sacrifice अपने व्यक्तिगत समर्पण और निजी त्याग के बल पर she has come to be a worthy symbol वो एक बहुमूल्य प्रतिक बन पायी हैं  through whom the plight of all the people of Burma may be recognized. जिनके माध्यम से , बर्मा के सभी लोगों की दशा पहचानी जाएगी,  And no one must underestimate that plight. और किसी को भी उस दुर्दशा को कम करके अवश्य ही  नहीं आँकना चाहिए . The plight of those उनलोगों की दुर्दशा को  in the countryside and towns, living in poverty and destitution, देहात और शहरों में गरीबी और दरिद्रता में रहने वालें  those in prison, battered and tortured;  जो जेलों में पिटे गए और यातना दिए गए ,
the plight of the young people, the hope of Burma युवा लोगों की दुर्दशा  जो बर्मा की आशा हैं , dying of malaria in the jungles to which they have fled; जंगलों में  मलेरिया से मरते हुए लोग, जो भाग कर जंगलों में गये है  that of the Buddhist monks, beaten and dishonored. उन पिटे गए और अपमानित बौद्ध संतों की , Nor should we forget न ही, हमलोगों  को भूलना चाहिए the many senior and highly respected leaders besides my mother who is all incarcerated. मेरी माँ के अलावा  अनेक  वरिष्ठ और श्रेष्ठ सम्मानित नेताओं को जिन्हें जेल में डाल दिया गया है ,   It is on their behalf that I thank you, from my heart, for this supreme honour. उनकी ओर से मैं इस सर्वोच्च सम्मान के लिए तहे दिल से धन्यबाद देता हूँ , The Burmese people can today hold their heads a little higher in the knowledge that बर्मा के लोग आज यह जानकर थोड़ा अपना सिर ऊपर उठा सकते है कि  in this far distant land their suffering has been heard and heeded. इस सुदूर देश/ धरती पर उनके कष्ट को सुना गया है और उसपर ध्यान दिया गया है .

Let it never be said by future generations that आने वाली पीढ़ियों द्वारा यह कभी नही कहा जाय कि indifference, cynicism or selfishness निष्पक्षता , मानव के प्रति घृणा या स्वार्थ ने  made us fail to live up to the ideals of humanism  हमें मानवता के आदर्शो पर जीने में असफल कर दिया which the Nobel Peace Prize encapsulates. जो यह नोबल शांति पुरस्कार संक्षेप में दिखता है .

Let the strivings of us all, prove Martin Luther King Jr. to have been correct, हम सभी के प्रयास, मार्टिन लूथर किंग जूनियर को सही साबित करने दें, when he said that humanity can no longer be tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war. जब उन्होंने कहा कि मानवता अब जातिवाद और युद्ध की तारकीय मध्यरात्रि के लिए दुखद रूप से बाध्य नहीं हो सकती है।
 Let the efforts of us all, prove that आइए, हम सब के प्रयासों से यह साबित हो जाए कि he was not a mere dreamer वे केवल स्वप्नद्रष्टा नहीं थे। when he spoke of the beauty of genuine brotherhood and peace being more precious than diamonds or silver or gold जब उन्होंने वास्तविक भाईचारे की सुंदरता और शांति को हीरे या चांदी या सोने से अधिक कीमती बताया था,
