JOHN KEATS (1795- 1821), one of the greatest of English Romantic poets. was harn at Moonfields, He studied at Clark's School at Enfield. His ambition to become a poet was fired, by his first acquaintance with Spenser's Faerie Queene. His first poem 'Lines in Imitation of Spenser' was published in 1814.
