Question Answer
1. About The
Author
The poem "What a Bird Thought" is written by an anonymous poet. That means
the writer's name is not officially credited or known.
The poem beautifully captures
a young bird’s evolving understanding of the world—from the safety of its
shell, to the nest, and finally to the vast outdoors. It’s a gentle metaphor
for growing up and discovering that the world is much bigger and more complex
than we first imagined.
Let us do these activities before we read.
Ans. There is a nest on the tree

3. Do you want to fly like a bird? Why?
Ans. Yes, I want to fly like a bird to explore the world.
4. What does a baby bird think about its
world?

Nor needed any other.
I thought the world was made of straw,

Quite fit for grown-up labours,
