Dr Zakir Hussain(1897-1969),  born in Hyderabad,  was one of our greatest freedom fighters as well as eminent educationist.   हैदराबाद में जन्मे डॉ जाकिर हुसैन 1897-1969, हमारे सबसे महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों में से एक प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद भी थे   Dr Husain become the President of India in 1967. डॉक्टर हुसैन 1967 में भारत के राष्ट्रपति बने। Earlier he had served as the Governor of Bihar इससे पहले उन्होंने बिहार के राज्यपाल के रूप में कार्य किया था, 'Bharat Is My Home' is an extract  from the speech “भारत इज माय होम” भाषण से लिया गया है He gave in 1967 after taking the oath as president . जिसे उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति के रूप में शपथ लेने के बाद 1967 में दिया था, in his first speech at the President of India भारत के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में अपने पहले भाषण में, Dr Zakir Hussain pledges himself डॉ जाकिर हुसैन संकल्प लेते हैं "to the service of the totality of India's culture"भारत की संस्कृति की समग्रता/  " सम्पूर्णता कि सेवा करने का .
