Robert Frost(1874-1963), often called the 'New England Poet' , was born in San Francisco but moved at an early age to New England on the East coast. रॉबर्ट फ्रॉस्ट को ' नए इंग्लैंड का कवि ' कहा जाता हैं, का जन्म सेन फ्रांसिसको में हुआ था लेकिन वे कम उम्र में ही इंग्लैंड के पूर्वी तट पर चले गए.Returning to the state he devoted him self to poetry and teaching. देश वापस लौट कर उन्होंने स्वयं को कव्य और अध्ययन में समर्पित कर दिया. He also worker as a news paper editor, cobbler and farmer. उन्होंने एक समाचार पत्र के सम्पादक, मोची और किसान के रूप में भी कार्य किया। His poems describe ordinary people and simple settings in very simple and lucid language, but his apparently simple themes often contains complex meaning.
