"I Have a Dream").“आई हैव अ ड्रीम”, is part of a historical speech given by the great Negro leader Martin Luther King Jr. (1929–1968, महान नीग्रो नेता मार्टिन लूथर किंग जूनियर (1929-1968) द्वारा दिये गए एक ऐतिहासिक भाषण का अंश है

 He gave/delivered this speech on August 28, 1963, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC. यह भाषण उन्होंने 28 अगस्त 1963 को वाशिंगटन डी. सी. के लिंकन मेमोरियल की सीढ़ियों पर दिया था। In 1964, he was given the Nobel Peace Prize, the youngest person to receive it. 1964 में उन्हें शांति का नोबल पुरस्कार दिया गया था, जिसे पाने वाले वे उस समय के सबसे कम उम्र के व्यक्ति थे। In this speech अपने इस भाषण में, he is addressing the Negro people of America at the time वे उस समय के अमरिका में   नीग्रो लोगों को संबोधित कर रहे हैं। who were struggling with poverty, neglect, discrimination and inequality. ग़रीबी, उपेक्षा, भेदभाव व असमानता से जूझ रहे हैं। In his speech he asks black people to continue their fight for their rights in American society  अपने भाषण में वे काले लोगों को अमरीकी समाज में अपने अधिकारों के लिए अपनी लड़ाई तब तक जारी रखने को कहते हैं

until they get civil rights like the white people there. जब तक उन्हें वहां के श्वेत लोगों की तरह नागरिक अधिकार प्राप्त नहीं हो जाते।

They ask the Negro people to continue their movement in a non-violent and peaceful manner वे नीग्रो लोगों को अहिंसात्मक एवं शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से अपने आंदोलन को जारी रखने को कहते हैं।. On the appearance of some white people in his speech अपने भाषण में कुछ गोरे लोगों की उपस्थिति पाकर, he calls it his symbolic victory वे इसे अपनी प्रतीकात्मक जीत बताते हैं and asks the Negro people not to hate the white Americans और नीग्रो लोगों से गोरे अमरीकियों से नफ़रत नहीं करने को कहते हैं।  

In this speech, Martin Luther speaks of his dream of an American society इस भाषण में मार्टिन लूथर एक ऐसे अमरीकी समाज के अपने सपने की बात करते हैं in which there is mutual harmony between blacks and whites जिसमे काले-गोरों के बीच आपसी सद्भाव हो, no class is exploited on the basis of its character किसी भी वर्ग का उसके वर्ण के आधार पर शोषण न हो, , white children are living in harmony with black children and play श्वेत बच्चे काले बच्चों के साथ मिलजुल कर रहें और खेलें।. All the trenches of inequality in the society should be erased.  समाज में असमानता की सभी खाइयां मिट जायें। This historical speech by Martin Luther reflects his optimistic stance. लूथर का यह ऐतिहासिक भाषण उनके आशावादी रुख को दर्शाता है। This speech gives strength not only to the Negro people but also to all the people of the world who are suffering from racial discrimination. भाषण न केवल नीग्रो लोगों को बल्कि दुनिया के उन सभी लोगों को ताकत देता है जो नस्लीय भेदभाव से पीड़ित हैं।
