SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE (1897-1945), popularly called “Netaji, सुभाष चंद्र बोस (1897-1945) जिन्हें नेताजी के नाम से जाना जाता है, was a great nationalist of the 20th century. He led the revolutionary Indian National Army during World War II to liberate India His first conscious step as a revolutionary was एक क्रांतिकारी के रूप में उनका प्रथम विचारात्मक कदम था to resign from the civil services on the premises सरकारी नौकरी से इस आधार पर इस्तीफा दे देना that the “best way to end a government is to withdraw from it.” British Insults to Indians to public places were offensive to him. On August 18,1945, he was in route to the Soviet Union in a Japanese plane when it crashes in Taipeh. He is believed to have died in the crash. Netaji was religious and spent much time in mediation. This aspect of his life is best reflected in the letter ‘Mother India’ उनके जीवन का यह पहलू उनके पत्र मदर इंडिया में सर्वाधिक उजागर होता है which wonderfully brings out the concern of a sensitive son.
