If you are used to something, you have often done or experienced it; it is not strange, new or difficult for you.

Affirmative: 

                          S + To Be+ Used To+ V4+O…

            (To be --- means is , are , am, was , were,  being etc)

Examples

1. I am used to waking up early.
मैं जल्दी उठने की आदत में/ आदि हूँ।

2. She is used to driving on the highway.
वह हाईवे पर ड्राइविंग की आदत में/ आदि है।

3. We are used to eating spicy food.
हम मसालेदार खाना खाने की आदत में/ आदि हैं।

4. He is used to working late nights.
वह देर रात तक काम करने की आदत में/ आदि है।

5. They are used to living in a big city.
वे बड़े शहर में रहने की आदत में हैं।

 

6. I am used to speaking English.
मैं अंग्रेजी बोलने की आदत में/ आदि हूँ।

7. She is used to handling difficult situations.
वह मुश्किल परिस्थितियों को संभालने की आदत में है।

8. We are used to working in a team.
हम टीम में काम करने की आदत में हैं।

9. He is used to traveling alone.
वह अकेले यात्रा करने की आदत में है।

10. They are used to eating healthy food.
वे स्वस्थ भोजन खाने की आदत में हैं।

11. I am used to reading books before bed.
मैं सोने से पहले किताबें पढ़ने की आदत में हूँ।

12. She is used to exercising regularly.
वह नियमित रूप से व्यायाम करने की आदत में है।

13. We are used to following strict rules.
हम सख्त नियमों का पालन करने की आदत में हैं।

14. He is used to working under pressure.
वह दबाव में काम करने की आदत में है।

15. They are used to visiting new places.
वे नए स्थानों पर जाने की आदत में हैं।

16. I am used to taking responsibility.
मैं जिम्मेदारी लेने की आदत में हूँ।

 

17. She is used to managing her time effectively.
वह अपने समय का प्रभावी ढंग से प्रबंधन करने की आदत में है।

18. We are used to adapting to new situations.
हम नई परिस्थितियों के अनुकूल होने की आदत में/ आदि हैं।

19. He is used to speaking in public.
वह सार्वजनिक रूप से बोलने की आदत में/ आदि है।

20. They are used to working in a fast-paced environment.
वे तेज गति वाले वातावरण में काम करने की आदत में/ आदि हैं।

Translate in to Hindi

I am used to getting up early in the morning. I don’t mind it.

She didn’t complain about the neighbours’ loud party. She was used to the noise.

I don’t think Ram’s strange- I’m used to him.

I don’t understand him, I’m  not  used to his accent yet.

            Negative :

                             S +To Be +Not+ Used To + V1+ ing+ O.

            Interrogative: 

                             To Be +S+ Used To+ V1+ ing+ O ?

Or

            Wh - Words + To Be +S+ Used To+ V1+ ing+ O ?

 

Examples:

        We use “are/is + used to” with reference to things /actions / events.

                The soldiers are used to living on dry rations in remote areas. 

                We are used to getting up early in the morning.

                   I am not used to such weather.

                   She was not used to eating her dinner so early.

                Old people feel sad when their children leave home. But they get used to their loneliness                  gradually.

                 I am not used to sharing clothes with anyone.

                Ram is not used to taking orders from anyone.

                You see, I am not used to so many medicines.
